I appreciate the concern about sea worthyness (sp?), but if you check out the attached site, it has already been done. I'm just looking to come up with design ideas from someone who has more multihull experience than I. I do however, have a Hobie Wave that I am well acquainted with. That is why a reefable rig like the Vanguard seems preferable. I'm also aware of the entry in the last watertribe challenge by CLC with a proa. I'm equally intrigued here as well. As I draw my current boatbuilding project to an end, I am looking for something new to attempt. Perhaps two CLC/Pygmy designs joined with my Hobie rig or twin unstayed Vanguard roller reefing rigs? Any opinions?
