I also purchased the hatch locking system from pygmy, but decided to go with
the internal bungy system. I still haven't given up on achieving a perfect
seal with the bungies, especially when I hear other people here did it.

You mentioned a pump - did you install a
: footpump? If so how did you install it and the associated plumbing?

not yet. I have the guzzler 500 but didn't install it yet.
perhaps it's better to install 2 small pumps than a one big one.
