Not that I reccomend trying this intensionally:

I was working with epoxy on something this summer and spilled some onto my outside work table. Ya so what? well it had rained the night before and the table was soaking wet when I spilled the epoxy and it cured perfectly. clear and well bonded to the wood, just a little diluted around the edges.

This of course will not work when you really want it to but MAS epoxy must be pretty good stuff. Who Knows, the other brands would probably do the same.
