I've viewed lots of the old threads about all the different materials (Nylon, canvas, polyester, etc)as well as coatings (hypaolon, PVC, urethanes, roofing materials, etc.) I'm having trouble figuring out which combo might be the best. I'm thinking of attempting a collapsible Guillemot double. Id like to do the least amount of cutting, sewing, paneling, etc. as possible. Cost is also a factor. Is there a "best" method?
