: Having used the internal strongback(2X4) with staple construction and using
: the box beam set-up with hot glue (stapless ), how would I use the
: internal 2X4 type with hot glue. Is there a way to break the forms loose
: once the stripping is done. Any comments would be appreciated.
: Thanking you in advance,

there's a good discussion a while back on the relative merits, possibilities of both strongbacks a while back.
A possible way of doing the internal with what you want is the jam method that i and larry used, having full stiffness and fully locked to a last few central strips of the final half(deck or hull), driving out the wedges and then loosening ea form from the hot glue just like others do. Just make sure the wedges are place to the cockpit side of ea form so the movement on release is to the wider part of the yak. I haven't done this but suspect its a more stable method if you. I dream about other holes in ea form w/ a cable w/ stops at ea form, ea one spaced just more than 12 inches and consecutively driving out each form from the cockpit so no shear damage is possible. Haven't done on like this, but i suspect its not an issue.
