Have you taken a look at Campmoor for tent poles for your tarp? I replaced the heavy steel poles that came with my Moss Parawing with 8' nesting aluminum poles made by Eureka. They are much lighter (and the 19' Parawing is heavy to begin with) though not as strong in a stiff wind.
