the distance between the roof rack bars on the cavalier is 31" - 32".

to my opinion a kayak MUST be tied to the front & rear of the car,
in addition to the ties that holds it to the roof rack,
regardless of the distance between the bars.

People needs money so they can exchange it with food, & eat the food,
& I'm sure somebody made a roof rack for that car you're talking about,
so he can earn some money from it, & eat (or maybe buy wood to make a boat...... naaaa... )

so I'm sure there is a roof rack for your car, especially when you're
not the only one who has this car, I mean..... Henry Ford, mass production,
Japanese, robots, you know....

you can also try figure out something yourself.
