I may have miscalculated....I was figuring 120 strips for a single boat. If I had to make two passes to form the bead I would have to make a third pass on the same strip to form the cove.
I am still trying to decide if I want to use the b & c method. I have read about planing instead. I also appreciate the input from those of you who have built boats before.
