Matthew,

Pete Rosyzk has contributed a lot on this topic, and if I remember correctly, his website contains some good examples. When we mounted a Guzzler in a modified Schade style sliding foot brace, the intake hose was simply bent around to lie on the bottom of the cockpit. I have always intended to add a 90 degree elbow with a strainer, but... The way it is set up now will empty the boat, but leave a few liters sloshing abound. I have no experience with the Whale Baby.
