I prematurely launched my Guillemot S&G for the first time last night. No sprayskirt, no endpours, no bulkhead, no hatch, no seat, no backrest, no varnish and NO PATIENCE.

I did notice that my stupid neoprene slippers brought on board about a cupfull of water uninvited. I will be buying a sponge as part of my standard equipment some time soon and going barefoot in future.

What Julie said about putting the boat up on saw horses and (part filling) it up with water should identify any leaks or at least put your mind at rest. A yachtie friend mentioned that they rub the outside of their yachts with detergent first and leaks show up better - just a thought.
