Walnut Cap?

Randy:

I'm puzzling out the installation of a bilge pump on my forward bulkhead, and have thought about adding an external cap to the system. Is your walnut cap a solid plug that will dislodge itself under pressure from the pump? Do you have it tethered to the inside of your outlet pipe?

What model Guzzler do you use -- the 500? Do you have a strainer at the inlet?
