Ben asked what the white material is that I'm laying the accent stripe on to. It's nothing more than strips of white posterboard that are run on a diagonal, allowing it to take the correct form of the boat. I tried originally with full sheets of posterboard, but it didn't allow for the twisting and bending like small strips allow. To keep the accent strip from keeping the paper attached to it forever, I've laid packing tape more or less along the line of the accent stripes.
