Yep, talked to CLC and they didn't think the Mill Creek would be the right boat since I will be getting out into Sandusky Bay and Lake Pymatuning where the wind regularly kicks up 2+' white caps and chop. They thought the Mill Creek might be too flat-bottomed for those conditions. That's why I'm considering a beamier touring kayak.
