In Response To: Cove and Bead bits (Fenton Sue)
I ought the grizley set and a set from woodworker supply catalog- can't remember the brand. Both performed well but the edge went to grizly. We went through enough basswood, mahogany, cherry and oak to do two boats and they held up well.
I enjoyed milling my own strips both from a cost perspective as well as a sense of acomplishment- you can say that you did everything except cut the tree down:)
i also enjoyed using the C&B except in the very tight corners. Rolling bevel technique is supperior there.
Cheers and good luck
Rick
