Plain sawn planks ripped into quarter sawn strips made fairing particularly easy. I had to be more careful than usual with dust; cedar and other woods don't give me that problem. I put on a mask even for hand sanding.
Although the pink faded pretty fast in the sunlight, the brownish/red is nice.
