Think about divers who dive down to depths where pressures are much greater than we encounter. Sweat and saltwater nasties are pressed deep inside the neoprene, and they swear by it. It's definitely a product that's good enough for us.

Sink The Stink is a microbial treatment with beneficial microbes that actually eat the smelly microbes and bacteria. If you're going to be on a multi-day trip, or have a multi-day travel home, you can actually soak your stuff in StS and pack it wet, and it won't be smelly when you get home. It's also non-toxic. I've heard the inventor has eaten the stuff at dive shows to prove it's not harmful.

It leaves gear with a slightly soapy smell, but that's tons better than stinky feet or the odour of saltwater nasties.

Like Ben, I use a bucket to get the wet stuff home, and then I fill it with warm water (why be harder on my hands than necessary) to soak the stuff with SinkTheStink.

Try it, you'll like it--I promise! It's only about $0.80 per treatment, and that's well worth it!!! You won't go back to using whatever you used before.

I StS'ed all my stuff from this past weekend last night. It's all frozen stiff this morning. (but at least it doesn't stink!!)
