thanks for the response! i ran the lasalle bank chicago marathon. 37,500 runners, and i never saw anyone from kenya. although, i did talk to folks who came from all over europe. it took me fourteen minutes of running just to get to the starting line from where i started.
back to the boat...
i think i might try to cut or drill small holes into the walnut and fill with glue and then go back over with a hot iron. i'l be sure to let you know how it turnd out. thanks for alll the input.
