9oz polyester is a little tough to get tight , but once it is tight then it has virtually no slack in damp weather ( when coated with a one part coating ) it heat shrinks a small amount when you use an iron on it. The weave is looser than 8oz nylon.

8oz nylon is somewhat easier to work with , it will slacken a little when damp ( with a one part coating ), strictly cosmetic. It will heat shrink when lightly sprayed with water and run over with an iron. Heavier nylon does not slacken I've been told , no matter what it is coated with.
