I am getting ready to varnish my kayak TODAY!! Should I put 5 coats on the bottom and then flip it to do the top? Or should I alternate - 1 coat on the bottom, one coat on the top, etc...? Any other tips or advise would be greatly appreciated. Like I said I am starting today......
