I'll add: Wood burning, Placing feathers, ferns, leaves, flowers or doilies under the fiberglass, Carving, Printed cloth, and Dry Transfers.
Most of these involve putting something on the wood and then covering it with fiberglass and epoxy. The fiberglass provides a good layer of protection for whatever artwork you want to do. My book "The Strip-Built Sea Kayak" goes into many of these ideas.
