1) I read that Greenland paddles are suited to narrower boats with lower decks. Having said that, would a Greenland paddle be practical for a high volume touring kayak with a 24" beam? If so, how much would one add to the length of such a paddle to compensate for the wider beam? Any suggestions?
2) Is there such a thing as a storm paddle designed to be held at the very butt ends on alternate strokes, almost like a canoe paddle? Has anyone tried this?
