If you have more time than money, you can buy Nick's book (Link Below) and draw plans from the offsets given in the book. The book is about $25. If you get scrap siding, or even studs from building sites, and cut it and scarf it into strips you can build most of the boat for nearly free (you'll need glue). You can use old doors, leftover roof sheathing plywood, etc. to cut the section forms. If you get creative, have the patience and time, and aren't afraid to have to put ALOT more effort into building the thing, you can put a boat together for under $100. If the woodwork turns out nice, you may want to splurge on fiberglass and epoxy.
