There is a company in Washington State(Folding Kayak Adventures) that rents folding kayaks. They will ship them where ever you want them. So you could have it shipped to Greenland before you get there, then you would not even have to worry about taking it on the plane.

Also you may want to see if there is an outfiter in Greenland that would rent kayaks.

This is the approach I would take. It seems easier than trying to get my boat on to a plane.
