A couple weeks ago many of you have helped my wife decide how to individualize and differentiate her Chesapeake light 16 (currently under construction) from my Chesapeake 17. I have to include that Holli wants hers finished bright too. So, an inlay it will be. She has the design, but I am having trouble finding a suitable veneer. I found very thin veneer in 12x24" sections at the local LOwe's hardware store. It is paper backed. My question is: will it work when glued on to the deck with epoxy and covered with nothing else but a couple of further coats of epoxy? What other sources of thin veneer are there? Any help is appreciated.
