Maybe I can get her to try kayaking some day - NOT! I can't even get my wife in one.
Paddled off of Kittery Point, Maine yesterday with a friend in our two s&g's. We ran into another s&g and I must have seen 5 other wooden kayaks on top of vehicles. Every where I go people stop and say things like "I built one", "my friend is building a kayak" etc.
I'm going to try a strip built this fall. I have a set of Nick's plans but just not too sure how well it will turn out.
