I saw that Rick Rubio referred to my Seguin entry in the SoCa k. registry. To anybody interested in building a fast/narrow S&G kayak, I can recommend the Seguin, having paddled it on flat rivers, lakes and on the coast this summer. I've got lots of pictures from the building process and of the finished boat - and I've got a scanner... I know kits only from hearsay. I would go for building from plans.
