If you talk to the author, here are a couple more suggestions.

Add a city & state box option so that the posting person's location can appear next to his name & email address.

Set it up so that if someone tries to post a link to a URL w/o filling in the title box it will either put in a generic title (Click Here For Related Link), or give an error message. It could also check for duplicate "http://", or even better yet, could try out the link before posting the message if the post's author desires.
