Keep in mind that you'd be bonding the enamel to the wood (or sealing epoxy coat), and then the fiberglass would be bonded to the enamel.

I'd bond the fiberglass to the wood (as normal), then paint w/ enamel, and just put a coat of epoxy (w/ very light glass?) over graphics to protect.
