In Response To: Skin Boat kits? (Dean Taylor)
I can think of three places that offer classes in building skin on frame kayaks. The Wooden Boat school in Brooklin, Maine usually offers one or two skin on frame courses each year. One course is often taught by Bruce Lemon, who also teaches courses at his own facility in New York State. Bruce was featured in a recent issue of Wooden Boat magazine. Don Rodgers, in Wisconsin, teaches courses at his shop in building baidarkas and West Greenland-styles kayaks
