Mine are leaving a nice imprint of the (fine) weave in the epoxy left on the wood. I think this eliminates starvation.

I laid up a test of mahogany last night. I'll run another with "standard" glass and compare the two. I'm suspecting that Jay's comments are on the money, and I'll be better off with the heavier weave. Interestingly, I cannot tear big chunks off. It will tear the glass and only bring up a couple of square inches at a time. I'm inclined to let it ride anyway for the reasons posted above - no difference in pain between now and later and I am curious to see how long it will last.
