Here's an elaborate idea. Mount the featherboards that need to move to a backup block. Put slotted holes in two pieces coming off at 90 degrees (metal with slots like what holds the angle on old drafting tables. Drill and tap holes in the top of your tablesaw or bandsaw table. Use bolts, through the slotted metal parts to hold the featherboard subassembly to the table.
Initial setup (making the thing) is alot of work, but the holes could be handy for other purposes later.
