California had the So Cal deal that Mark went to, but I guess that was more than kayak/canoes too. Northern CA would work for me (barely) but I think that most of the attendance would be people who can drive, which would eliminate Seattle. I'd like to see something in Puget Sound, or southern WA / northern OR coast.

There was a sea kayak symposium in Port Townsend last weekend which I guess is a yearly event. I'd have gone if I'd known sooner. I have been to some nice places arount Tillamook / Astoria / Lincoln City, but perhaps not with the right accomodations. Let me know on ideas for location, perhaps I can do some research or even go to evaluate if you wish.
