Experience helps with formulating good ideas, but it doesn't mean that good ideas can only come from direct experience. When I was about eight, my Dad was once complaining about having to lie on his back to fill the propane tank under our camper. I asked "Couldn't you run a pipe up to the side of the van?" He said "What a genius!" He had missed the simple, obvious solution. Sometimes the best ideas come from those without experience due to their ability to "Think outside the box"

Post your ideas. Be prepared to be shown what's wrong with them if there is something wrong with them. Nobody has to use, or even read your ideas if they don't want to. I'm sure some people disregard my posts automatically because I haven't built a kayak yet.

I've never built a Space Station either, but I'm getting paid to design one...
