Nice job. Nice attachment for the tether. Not only to keep it from floating away, but also provides safety from losing a hatch flying down the highway. I haven't had any problems with my hatches lifting off, but I feel much safer with the tether attached.

I love this trend towards hiding the hardware. It really helps showcase the beauty of a wooden boat.
