I have built a complete sailrig for my single fiberglass kayak that uses jib and main, unstayed mast, boom, and 2 sheets - main uses a sleeve to attach to the mast - total sail area 85 ft2 and both sails furl to 0 when necessary- leeboard mounts on deck bracket that also supports outriggers at each gunwale - leeboard pivots up if it strikes anything hard - outriggers extend outward and forward to allow paddling without restraint aat the same time - this flexibilityis very important to me- complete rig stows in the cockpit for travel on a common carrier - boat can be launched from a beach or from a dock - sails into the wind - email me for a bmp image - cant post it here
