Sorry this got posted in the wrong place before.
Below should be a picture of a model of a footpeg we are looking at installing in the kayaks we are making (my son and my winter project).
The design is such that, if it does not work, we can revert to other designs I have seen.
The mounting blocks would be epoxied to the sides of the kayak, then the removable footpeg recepticle would be mounted via the bolts. The peg itself will have a hole drilled in the top and held to a groove in the back by a bungie or heavy duty rubber band.
This design allows the footpeg to rotate to match the kayaker as well as the conditions/ attitude of his/her feet.
Do the more experienced kayakers and kayak builders have any comments or suggestions?
