The kayak looks great. Do you find it a tight fit? I understand the North Bay is a bit snug and you've taken an inch off of it.

I'm thinking about building a North Bay. Have you had it out in rough water? I'm curious how it compares to a beamier kayak in bad conditions.

How do you like the greenland style paddle? I was using one with an inappropriate style of kayak (Chesapeake 17') and really liked it. I hear they're much better with a narrower kayak like the North Bay.

Ironically enough, I've stopped using the greenland paddle because it's too cold now. All that water splashing around is less than desirable when it's a few degrees above freezing. At least until I get better gloves.
