You should try a whitewater play boat such as the Necky Rip or Jive or most any of the Riot kayaks.These kayaks with there planing hulls work very well for ocean surfing.We've been out in breaking surf around 6 feet in the Bay of Fundy,and they are a blast to paddle!Happy paddling....
