Hi, All.
I was working on aligning forms along my strongback last night and found that 1) it's hard to sight along the marks and 2) it's REALLY hard to make very small corrections. To help with the sighting I extended the reference lines using stiff cardboard and I ran a string down the sides of the boat (not touching the forms) to measure to. QUESTION: how close is close enough? Once I aligned the tops of the forms to the centerline, it's pretty easy to get all side marks within 1/4 inch of each other. Should I shoot for 1/8, 1/16, 1/32? I want to try to get things aligned as good as possible, but not spend hours fiddling with it to no purpose.
Thanks.
