I like the CLC. Just completed & launched a CLC 18LT. Great boat & fun to build, although not without it's challenges. I built from a kit. This was my second kayak. Had previously build a canoe from plans. I'm glad I went with the kit. It saved me time & eliminated a lot of areas where mistakes would have been both easy & serious. As it was I made a number of mistakes - but fortunately none of them "fatal". Good luck.
