The new version of the script let me turn it off, which I did. The counter (views=#) is processor intensive, it has to rewrite the whole database each time you look at a post. While I liked seeing how many people read a message too, I thought it would be better to keep the BBS as responsive as possible. If people realy like the counter, I can turn it back on. It is not as if the BBS was really getting slow.
