> Brian--Any ideas on how it got 2 inches off center?
That sound harsh, but the other reason I had trouble was the the rearmost scarf was cut wrong! the scarf as I recieved it had the transon sloping rearward itstead of forward, which it my case was good since it 1) made the boat longer and 2) gave rudder clearance.
other stuff they screwed up packing the kit:
1) I asked for plywood bulkheads, they shipped the foam ones, which I sent back along with the sealant for plywood to due the bulkheads
2) missing coming ring, later shipped to me
3) missing hardware, wrong number of screws, sent next day
4) side pieces for the hatches were too short, got more pieces that were too short sent to me, got correct length peices sent to me
they eventually got everything too me apologizing profusely
LESSON: always check your kit!
humm, maybe I shouldn't recommend the kit.
