I launched my CLC Chesepeake 17 just in time for the Santa Cruz Harbor lighted boat parade. The boat paddles like a dream, tracks arrow straight and glides like a pelican. My wife and I decorated our kayaks with Christmas lights, donned Santa hats and joined the holiday fun. About 10,000 people showed up to see my maiden voyage.....how many of you can say that? Thanks to all who provided insight during the construction process. I'll post some better pictures as soon as I find the time, but here is one for now.
