Pete,
Being a "tool freak" I just gotta' have one of those little jewels!
Now, it also made me do a flash back to 35 yrs ago, just out of the Navy and working for an electronics firm. My dept made seismic cables, bundling 50-60 twisted wire pairs. To make the pairs, we had a sophisticated machine, but the hookup was nothing more than an eye bolt.
I just ran some quick shop tests with said eye bolt and one of my cordless drill motors and even on divinycell the wire was twisted firm, but not cutting in too much. On wood, it was snug. And the nice thing, it released itself or twisted off near the eye bolt every time.
Put about three quick twists by hand to form a loop, catch with the eye, and pull the trigger.
Cost of tool, $0.17.
Now, Jeff: Where can I buy that Aircraft Safety Wire Tool??!! I've already assigned a spot in one tool box for it!
Regards, Patrick
