Hi Larry,
I'm not sure about the difference between the two types, but minicell foam makes a very comfortable seat. Try to make even pressure on the entire contact surface of your bottom and hips. A nice addition is to cover the finished product with "thin" neoprene.
If one type is softer than the other, put a thin layer of the softer foam on top.
