Has anyone ever seen this:

I fiberglassed my hull several weeks ago. Last weekend I did a wet sand and didn't notice any problems. Today, while getting ready to tape the outside seam of the shear, I noticed a void about 2 inches wide, by 6 inches long. I decided to cut this section out and re-glass since it was so large. When I cut it open, the epoxy inside was still very much sticky! The outside was dry (and cured. No fingernail dents) as a bone, but in the end, there was a section about 1 foot long by 4 inches wide that had this problem. Have I done something terribly wrong? Can I expect more of this to happen? Could this have just been something on/in the cedar that prevented it from setting?

I'm a little bothered I'm having to make my first hull repair before even getting on the water, but my main concern is this problem doesn't spread...

Any insight would be a big help,
