Pete, I used a piece(7') in the center section (inside) of my Coho kayak. I did it to experiment with the stuff. It is supposed to be stronger and more abrasion resistant. It handled and weted out just like e-glass. The stuff costs a lot more than e-glass and is probably not worth the extra expense except for the way I used it(small amt.). If your like me and like experimenting with different building materials and cost does not scare you off, go for it!!
