Normally if you add sawdust from the wood you are working with to epoxy and use it as a filler it will be too dark. You need to find another, lighter colored, thickener to add to the epoxy mixture until you have a good color match. I think some manufacturers sell milled cotton fiber as a thickener. Since it's white it will help lighten the filler mixture.
