I am 6'0",and relatively short legged.I find getting into the cockpit not toodifficult,but with longer legs I might have trouble.My size 101/2 foot fits without trouble with tevas and booties.I haven't tried it with winter boots .As I said,you might lengthen the cockpit if you are long-legged.As to raising the deck,your feet are at an angle,so an inch goes a long way in adding clearance.15% is about 2".Probably the height of one strip(3/4") would do it.
