If shipping is the way you are going to go, give Houston Hardwoods a call. They carry okoume. If they ship, maybe the shipping will be cheaper since Houston is closer. At this time, I don't have a need for okoume. Thanks anyway though. I've handled the Okoume from Houston Hardwoods and it is definetly better that the meranti/lauan I've used, but I haven't convinced myself it is worth the extra cost. Many people don't agree.
